Acceptable candidates will be provisionally offered a place, subject to satisfactory GCSE grades. A minimum qualification of six 6's, including a grade of 4 or above in Maths and English and a grade of 6-9 in the intended A level subjects are required at GCSE.
Open Events
Open Morning
We warmly invite Year 10 students and their families to our College Open Morning on Saturday 10 May 2025, from 9:15 am to 12:30 pm. This event is a fantastic opportunity to explore our campus, meet our students and staff, and learn more about transitioning to our Sixth Form. To book your place, please click here
Sixth Form Open Evening
Join us on Wednesday 8 October 2025, for our Sixth Form Open Evening. This event is designed for Year 11 students to gain detailed insights into their Sixth Form options. The evening will feature presentations, campus tours, and the chance to discuss subject choices with our staff and students. Booking details will be available in September 2025.
Taster Day
Year 11 students are encouraged to experience a Taster Day at the College on Tuesday 21 October 2025. During this event you will experience a carousel of lessons, the opportunity to participate in sports activities and sample lunch in our refectory. Details of how to book will be available in September 2025.
Registration
All external students are required to register for our Sixth Form, please download and complete the form below.
Sixth Form Application Form
In addition, all students must complete a Sixth Form Application Form outlining their subject choices, a personal statement and Higher Education / Career Aspirations.
Interview
All candidates will be invited to attend an interview with the Headmaster or Deputy Headteacher during January 2026.
Offer Letter & Offer Holders' Evening
All successful applicants will receive their Offer Letter before the February half term. All students who receive an offer will be invited to the Offer Holders' Evening before the Easter holiday.
For all external applicants, we will request a confidential reference from the Headteacher of your current school before we will make an offer.
Induction Day
Prospective Sixth Form students will be invited to attend an Induction Day in June after the GCSEs, where they can meet all of the other students planning to continue their educational journey at Salesian College Sixth Form.
