Thank you for considering Salesian College Sixth Form as the next step in your educational journey. We understand that transitioning to Sixth Form is an exciting opportunity, and our dedicated Sixth Form and Admissions Teams are here to support you every step of the way. Whether you're looking to deepen your academic knowledge, explore new interests, or prepare for your future career, we are committed to providing a nurturing and enriching environment to help you achieve your goals.

Acceptable candidates will be provisionally offered a place, subject to satisfactory GCSE grades. A minimum qualification of six 6's, including a grade of 4 or above in Maths and English and a grade of 6-9 in the intended A level subjects are required at GCSE.

We extend a warm welcome to prospective Sixth Form students and their families to come along to our whole school Open Morning, on Saturday 9 May 2026. During the event you will hear from the Headmaster, senior staff and students; have the opportunity to tour our facilities with a student guide, and take part in immersive activities in all subject areas. You will also have the opportunity for informal discussions with our Admissions Team over refreshments in The Refectory. To book your place, please click here

Interview
All candidates will be invited to attend an interview with the Headmaster or Deputy Headteacher during January 2026.

Offer Letter & Offer Holders' Evening
All successful applicants will receive their Offer Letter before the February half term. All students who receive an offer will be invited to the Offer Holders' Evening before the Easter holiday. 

Reference
For all external applicants, we will request a confidential reference from the Headteacher of your current school before we will make an offer.

Careers & Networking Events
We offer a number of Alumni led networking opportunities to help open up your future opportunities.

Induction Day
Prospective Sixth Form students will be invited to attend an Induction Day in June after the GCSEs, where they can meet all of the other students planning to continue their educational journey at Salesian College Sixth Form.
