Charlie and the Chocolate Factory Production

"It must be believed to be seen" - Willy Wonka

WOW! Over the past week over 900 people have had the pleasure of watching this years school production, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.

Over 100 staff and students have worked tirelessly over the past few months to bring this spectacle to the stage.

One guest said "I wanted to say how much we all enjoyed the production last night. The students did so well and we could all see the hard work that had obviously gone into preparing the whole show."

St. John Bosco Alumni Dinner 26 January 2024

As we celebrated the feast day of our founder, Saint John Bosco, and welcomed home 100 alumni for the inaugural Salesian College Farnborough Alumni dinner. It was wonderful to see so many former students reminiscing about their time at the College, and enjoying being together again.

Our guest speaker Gareth Chilcott entertained us with his stories on and off the pitch and stressed the importance of reunions.

Thank you to our PTA for providing the bar and our caterers, Thomas Franks, for the delicious meal.

We plan to make this an annual event and look forward to welcoming more alumni home next year.

AstronomyEvening

On Wednesday 100 Year 5 students, and their parents, attended the Ogden Trust Astronomy Night hosted at Salesian College, Farnborough. The Ogden Trust is a partnership between science teachers from 10 infant, junior, primary and secondary schools in Farnborough and Aldershot.

The students had a great evening, with a carousel of activities incorporating stargazing through telescopes, provided by The Cody Observatory and Salesian College, a ‘pop-up’ planetarium, and arts and crafts activities.

Food Bank Donation

A huge thank you from the Vine Centre in Aldershot, for the incredible support and donations supplied by the Salesian Community.

Our students and staff had a lot of fun collecting and delivering the donations to Aldershot.

Your generous support will go towards making Christmas very special for so many.
