Lower Sixth Spanish Exchange
At the end of the Autumn Term, a group of Lower Sixth Spanish students took part in an exchange programme to Barcelona where they spent a week practicing their linguistic skills. They attended lessons and organised activities and they really enjoyed their interaction with their Spanish families. This year it was particularly special since they experienced the Spanish and Catalan Christmas preparations in such a lovely and culturally vibrant city. Another interesting part of the trip was our visit to Madrid which provided a fascinating contrast in culture and architecture between the two most important cities in the country. We would like to express our gratitude to Salesian College Sarria for their generous welcome and fantastic hospitality. We are now looking forward to the second part of the exchange in June.
