Lourdes 2012
On Easter Sunday 8 April, 61 students from Salesian College and 19 girls from Alton Convent together with staff from both schools, travelled to Lourdes with HCPT - The Pilgrimage Trust. Each year, students from the College help to give handicapped and disadvantaged children a memorable week in the foothills of the Pyrenees. This year, they manned a craft marquee at Hosanna House, entertained the children at a café sing-song, assisted family groups and organised games and activities as well as supporting the Brancadier Team with duties for the Torchlight and Blessed Sacrament Processions. It was a busy and challenging week but one which the students will never forget. A truly memorable and rewarding experience. We thank the PTA for their support.
