English Schools' Cross-Country Cup Regional Finals

On Saturday 12 November 2011, six boys in Years 7 and 8 represented the College in the Regional Finals of the English Schools' Cross-Country Cup, in Bromley, Kent.  The race was very competitive with some of the top schools in the South East at the event. The Year 7 and 8 race produced one of Michael Try’s best performances for the College and he finished in 4^th place which was an outstanding achievement. Jacob Daniels (29), Adam Bonnett (42) and Matthew Daniels (45) made up the top four which resulted in the team finishing with 120 points. Also, Ryan Blake (48) and Adam Morgan (59) worked extremely hard in a tough field.

It resulted in Salesian College finishing 7^th place overall out of 12 schools which was a great achievement considering the boys faced stiff competition from some very strong schools.
