Salesian College celebrates outstanding achievements at Annual Prize Giving

On Friday 4 November, Salesian College celebrated a year of outstanding achievements of the students at the College’s Annual Prize Giving Ceremony.  The Very Reverend Fr Martin Coyle SDB, Provincial of the Salesian order presented the prizes to students both past and present.

Mr Patrick Wilson, Headmaster commented “The Annual Prize Giving is a special occasion when we celebrate the outstanding achievements of our students.  This year the College had many successes, both at local, regional and national level in a wide variety of competitions and sports.  In particular, we celebrate the outstanding academic success at both A Level and GCSE and wish all our young men and women continued success in the years ahead.”

Four students who received awards for their exemplary exam results were Thomas Dodington who was awarded the Centenary Cup for the Highest Points at A Level, having achieved 3A*s and an A and who is now studying Integrated Mechanical and Electrical Engineering at the University of Bath having been awarded a scholarship by them.
