Salesian College support Heart 2 Heart Appeal
On Monday 14 March, Salesian College presented the Mayor of Surrey Heath, Councillor John May with a cheque for £300 in support of one of the Mayor’s charities the Heart 2 Heart Appeal at Frimley Park Hospital.
Councillor John May was presented with the cheque after he spoke about two of his chosen charities, the Heart 2 Heart Appeal and The Prostate Project during the College’s assembly.
Mr William Stanton, Deputy Headmaster commented “Salesian College are committed to actively supporting the wider community. After some of our future medical students attended a lecture about the Cardiac Unit at Frimley Park last year, it seemed fitting for the College to make a donation to the Appeal which will provide such a vital service to our community.”
