Salesian College win U15 Aldershot and District Basketball Cup

Salesian College win U15 Aldershot and District Basketball Cup

Salesian College’s U15’s basketball team produced yet another fantastic display in a very competitive cup final. Salesian took the lead at the end of the first period with Daniel Meade and Max Sears putting in a great performance. In the second period Salesian started to dominate with Richard Allen, Lewis Rattigan and Michael Williams putting some points on the board and with the lead 25-10 at half time. In the third period, Cove School came back into the game and their defence became a lot tougher to break down. Jack Bull, Matthew Wyke and Samuel Durham were introduced and energised the team. In the fourth period Salesian continued to keep a healthy lead with Alfie Walters and Joshua Pope showing excellent work rate and determination. The game ended 39-18.

Congratulations to all the boys who have been involved this season and well done in retaining the Aldershot and District Cup!
