A Level Physics Trip to CERN
On Thursday 17 February to 20 February, 20 A Level Physics students enjoyed a very successful visit to CERN, near Geneva, Switzerland. During the visit to CERN itself, the students were able to consolidate their learning in the area of 'Particle Physics' by seeing actual research that takes place, the engineering behind the experiments and by listening to talks by the research scientists.
The students also enjoyed a tour of the United Nations Building, visited Musee d'Histoire des Sciences, Jet d'Eau and St. Pierre Cathedral, along with boat trips on Lake Geneva.
