U13 & U14 Hampshire School Sports Partnerships Cross Country Championships

On Thursday 3 March, eight boys from Years 7 and 8 travelled to Anstey Park, Alton to represent North East Hampshire Schools in the Sports Partnerships Cross Country Championships.  The Year 7 race was very competitive with over 100 boys competing.  Michael Try just missed out on a place in the next round coming 24^th.  Miles Slee 64^th, Ryan Blake 69^th and Jose Anguita-Caseny 77^th worked extremely hard in tough conditions.

The Year 8 race again was very exciting with Charlie Mills putting in an outstanding performance and finishing 2^nd. Henry Robinson ran a very good race and finished 14^th. These two boys now go through to the next round to represent the County in the Inter-Counties Competition. Praise should also go to Tomas Porter 26^th and Sam Peddie 37^th who both worked very hard.

Congratulations to Charlie Mills and Henry Robinson and well done to all involved.
