Peak District Geography Field Trip
On Friday 24 June, the Geography Department and Year 10 with the assistance of Mrs Allerhand, Mr Best, Mrs Moseley and Mr Good braved the wilds of the Hope Valley in the Peak District to collect data collection in Castleton for their controlled assessment. With a record number of students this year, we stayed at Edale Youth Hostel and enjoyed some of the outdoor activities the Centre had to offer. Students and staff were able to partake in a night hike, kayaking, abseiling and caving to get a first-hand experience of tourist activities in Britain’s most popular National Park. Mr Gore, Ms Day and the boys would like to thank the members of staff who gave up their weekend to join us on this worthwhile trip.
