Salesian College PTA Quiz Night - huge success
On Saturday 22 January, the Salesian College PTA held their annual Quiz Night. The evening was a huge success with a record breaking 29 teams competing for the trophy. The evening expertly organised by Tony Bainbridge, was hosted by Mr Wilson who was ably assisted by Mr Stone and Sixth Form students. Teams battled through ten rounds of questions with a break for a supper of fish and chips. Winners of the trophy with 142 points were "Great Minds Think Alike", followed closely by "Densa" on 140, "University Challenged" on 138 and the "Staff A team" on 136.
Thank you to everyone who attended which included teams of staff, Year 9 boys, Year 7 boys and various Sixth Form combinations, the PTA for their continued hard work and to Mr Wilson, Mr Stone, Sixth Form students and as always the
school maintenance team.
