St Aidan’s take the title…

 On 31 January, Salesian College held its annual swimming gala at the Farnborough Leisure Centre.  All events were well contested and the individual races and house competitions provided some tight races and finishes.

The overall results are below, but worthy of special mention is Rebecca Fisher (St Dunstan’s) who, in the first ever girls freestyle race in the College’s history, recorded a  winning time of 24.95s ahead of Kiera Fitzmaurice (St Bede’s 2^nd), Nuala Wheatley (St Aidan’s 3^rd) and Emma Yeoman (St Hugh’s 4^th).  Furthermore, Justin Hanson broke a 6 year record in the senior breast-stroke and the Year 7 St Bede’s freestyle and medley relay teams who broke long standing records.
