Salesian performs well in Kids' Lit Quiz
For the first time, Salesian College entered two teams into the internationally prestigious Kids’ Lit Quiz competition for avid readers, aged 11-14. Renowned children’s authors Ali Sparkes and Craig Simpson were at the event (and are pictured with our boys). The regional Southern Heat took place at Warblington School in Havant and the College ‘B’ team came a fantastic fourth (out of eighteen teams), missing third place by one point. The College ‘A’ team finished a creditable seventh. This represents a significant achievement in a competition of some pedigree, where the eventual overall prize is an all-expenses paid trip to New Zealand. Representing Salesian were: Nicholas England, Daniel Bamber, Alex Celik, Nicholas Jackson, Matthew Lloyd, Sam Karavis, Oliver Graham and Harrison Mills.
