European Languages Week
Monday 20 to Friday 24 September is European Languages Week at Salesian College. Mrs Diana Kavanagh, recently retired Head of Modern Foreign Languages at St John the Baptist School, a specialist language college in Woking, will address the school at assembly on Monday. Many students will have the opportunity to investigate our neighbouring countries, particularly France, Spain, Italy and Germany via other subjects in the curriculum, such as ICT, Geography, Art, Music and History. At morning break on Tuesday, a German Brunch will be served in the refectory, on Wednesday, a French brunch will be served, and on Thursday a Spanish lunch will be served. Each will cost £1.50, payable on the morning. All of this has been prepared by Mrs Cardona, the MFL enrichment co-ordinator.
