Salesian College are Public Speaking Finalists for second time in six months!

On Sunday 12 September, Alexander Morgan, our School Captain, came second in the National Final of the Catenian Public Speaking competition held in Manchester.  With only half a mark separating the winner and Alexander, it was yet another fantastic achievement for the College who had four boys in the Rotary Youth Speaks National Final in Stratford Upon Avon earlier in the year.

Mr Wilson, Headmaster commented “Within one week of the new academic year commencing, it is great to see one of our boys compete in another National Final.  Alexander who is our School Captain is eloquent at public speaking and a good role model for the younger boys in the school.  Congratulations to Alexander on a fantastic achievement.”
