Salesian College School Council
Following the recent rounds of hustings and elections the School Council has now been elected for this academic year. There are two councillors from each of the Year Councils from Years 7 to 11. At the first meeting, chaired by the School Captain, Alexander Morgan and Mr Moore, they elected a vice-chairman, a secretary and a treasurer and discussed some preliminary thoughts about the issues that they felt the student body wished them to pursue this year. The Year Councils will meet with Mr Moore after half term and these discussions will largely form the agenda at the second School Council meeting of the year on Friday 26 November.
The School Council will receive their badges of office in assembly on Monday 1 November. They are:
Michael Fowler and Ayotunde Adelekun (Year 7), Joshua Baggott and Barnaby Ridley (Year 8), Cameron Hogg and Henry Jones (Year 9), Alexander Murray and Daniel Meade (Year 10) and Jack Glasscock and Luke Dailey (Year 11).
