Salesian College make history with first ever Ladies' College Netball team
On Wednesday 20 October,
Mr Patrick Wilson, Headmaster commented “Further to a significant increase in girls attending the co-educational Sixth Form, we are now able to offer netball as one of the many sporting opportunities available at the College. An elite senior netball squad has been formed and we look forward to them representing the College this season.
The current Sixth Form girls should be credited for their enthusiasm at putting together a netball team so early into the academic year. The Lower Sixth Girls have only been at the College six weeks, but they already feel at home in the Sixth Form and are working together with the Upper Sixth Girls as part of a close knit team both in sport and a wide range of extra curricular activities alongside the boys.”
