Lower Sixth Leadership and Activity weekend

On Friday 1 October, 68 Lower Sixth students together with Lower Sixth Form girls from Alton Convent shared an activity weekend at the Kingswood Centre in Ashford.
The students were involved in a range of challenging team building activities from negotiating Jacob’s Ladder (a suspended ladder 45 ft up in the air), problem solving and Equilibrium which involved climbing, in pairs, up to a very high see-saw and balancing.
The weekend away together has enabled the Lower Sixth students to get to know each other much better and friendships were formed and strengthened. As one student remarked “I feel so at home at
The staff who accompanied the students all agreed that our Lower Sixth have returned as a cohesive, strong group of young people and it was a great pleasure to spend time getting to know them.
