Annual 5-a-side Football Tournament
On Wednesday 29 September, Salesian College hosted the annual 5-a-side football tournament with 16 primary schools taking part. There was some great football on show and all of the boys should be complemented on their attitude and commitment towards each game. As the day progressed, parents and teachers started getting more and more excited as their teams went through to the quarter and then semi-finals. Finally, the final between St Augustine and Ravenscote (the best two sides in the tournament) was a fantastic game. With the score at 3-3 after normal time, we headed for extra time. St Augustine went onto win the final 4-3 and win the trophy which had been missing from their cabinet since 2007. Well done to all schools that participated in this fantastic day!
