Salesian Athletics Masterclass!
At the Senior District Athletics Championships today
Harvey Dixon U17 1500m Champion – Salesian’s superstar runner won the title for the fourth year running, coasting to victory in 4.14, helped by a bunch of bananas before the race!
Richard Allen U15 1500m Champion – a fantastic run from Richard in 4.45, well done! A special mention to Owen Wagstaff who finished fourth.
Toby Starling U15 800m Champion – Toby cruised to victory in 2.12, with lots of gas left for another day! A special mention to Michael Gregory who won his heat to qualify and finished a fine third place.
Jack Bull U15 400m Champion – A magnificent effort from Jack after an injury filled season Jack produced a storming 350m and just held on for victory in 58.7, super stuff!
Tom Daly U17 Discus runner-up – A top effort from Tom throwing the 1.5 kg discus 26.78m.
Robert Deans U15 100m third place – A great effort from Robert in a fast race!
Three third places in the high jump with Owen Wagstaff and Matt Lee sharing 3rd in the U15 High Jump and Harry Cronk coming third in the U17 High Jump and 800m.
A fine day – well done men!!
