ISA National Cross Country Championships

On Friday 26^th February a group of boys from across years 7-11 travelled to Princethorpe College in Warwickshire as part of the London west team for the National Cross Country Championships. They had been selected following their successes at the regional event held before half term.

The team and Mr Moore joined runners from several other schools in the area including Alton Convent, Sherfield and Hawley Place on the team coach. After an incident free journey they arrived at a very wet and muddy Princethorpe and found the course, upon inspection, to be challenging with mud, water and hills!

However, the boys ran very well under the conditions and assisted the London west teams to some age group wins and an overall second place in the competition. The following boys competed:

Under 14: Oliver Leatherdale (16) – Henry Robinson (21) – Charlie Peffers (51).

Under 16: Toby Starling (4) – Richard Allen (rtd).

Over 16: James Kelly (2).
