A Fabulous Summer Fête

On Saturday 26 June, the College held its annual Garden Fête. It was a fabulous event organised by the PTA with many stalls and displays on what was a very hot day. Highlights of the Fête included a display by the Hill Top Birds of Prey which are owned by former student Michael Hill; the Tug of War which this year was won St Hugh’s and music by Dr Noble, Mr McAlinden and some of our Sixth Formers.
We were also delighted to present two cheques to this year’s chosen charities which were the Henry Tyndale School and Naomi House. Both charities received £1,125 as a result of the money raised at this year’s Amethyst Ball.
Thank you to our sponsors this year, in particular Grace Suman a local estate agent who donated £250 of raffle prizes.
