Sightsavers Sponsored Walk
Sightsavers Walk Front Page News!!
The annual Salesian sponsored walk which took place on 6th December 2009 is featured on the front page of this week’s ‘Farnborough News’. Students, parents and staff have so far collected over £2,300 and with money still coming in I am hopeful that the total will exceed £2,500. This donation will once again be matched by Standard Chartered Bank and thus take our contribution to the ‘Seeing is Believing’ campaign to over £20,000 from our four walks. This is a wonderful achievement and testament to the enthusiasm of a great number of people who have got involved and worked hard to raise so much money, for such a worthy cause.
