Hampshire Cross Country Championships

On Tuesday 9^th February, 9 Salesian College runners represented the North East Hants School Sports Partnership (previously Aldershot District) Team in the county championships for years 7 and 8. They were selected on the basis of their strong performances in the District championships last month.

Both races had very large fields of runners representing all of the districts of Hampshire and the Isle of White. Salesian boys contributed significantly with the year 7 team winning their event and the year 8 team coming third.

The following boys ran:

Henry Robinson (11) – Sam Peddie (36)

Oliver Leatherdale (17) – Charlie Peffers (49) – Daniel Lloyd (51) – George Burgess (53) – Eliott Broad (83) – Daniel Bonnett (87) – Sebastian Charles (89).

Special congratulations to both Henry Robinson and Oliver Leatherdale who have been selected to represent Hampshire in the forthcoming inter-counties meeting.
