Harvey Dixon – running sensation!

On 6 December, Harvey Dixon, a student in our Sixth Form won the Aldershot and District Schools Athletics Association Vice Presidents Trophy for his Outstanding Contribution as a District Schools Athlete.
Mr Dave Adams, Association Chairman presented the trophy to Harvey and commented “Harvey has been presented with this award for his hard work over the last five years at the Aldershot Athletics Club. Harvey has represented the Association at multiple events since coming 3rd in the Junior District Cross Country way back in January 2006! Harvey is an outstanding athlete who has been loyal, determined and committed and this is why he has won the award.”
Mr Wilson, said “Salesian College congratulates Harvey on being awarded this trophy. Harvey has continued to represent Salesian College and Aldershot and District Schools Association with distinction this year after his outstanding success last year when he became the English Schools and Home International Cross Country Champions. We are very proud of Harvey and wish him continued success. ”

3.48 ranked 2nd in UK and this is the 4th fastest UK all time
Harvey has also received the Outstanding Cross Country sports person for Hampshire Schools Award and won the McCain Cross Country Challenge in Liverpool. All these achievements have been in the age group for under 17.
