100% A Level Pass Rate

Fourteen of the 60 students gained at least three passes at A*/A grade including two of our girls who joined us in the Lower Sixth from St Nicholas' School.
Whilst 70% of the Upper Sixth gained A-B grades, a large number achieved AAB which is now often the benchmark for entry into the Russell Group of Universities which include Oxbridge,
The top student this year was William O’Donovan who gained four A*s to secure his place to read Mathematics at
Once again the success of the co-educational Sixth Form has been shown by the outstanding results and the 100% pass rate at A Level gained by the boys and girls. All of our students have been rewarded for their hard work and the individual support given by their teachers. We wish them well as they go on to University or broaden their experience during a gap year. Students, staff and parents should be deservedly proud. We will miss a memorable Upper Sixth who have laid down a clear challenge for the Lower Sixth who also achieved excellent results today. We look forward to celebrating these outstanding results at Prize Night on Friday 5th November, when Mrs Maureen Devereux, mother of Sean, will be our Guest of Honour.
The students leaving this year can be assured of a warm welcome whenever they return and our continued help and support if needed at any time.
We look forward to the publication of GCSE results on Tuesday 24th August. Fifth form students can collect their results from Mrs Taylor's office between 9.00am to 12.00pm (Midday). Let us hope that our Year 11 students follow in the footsteps of the Upper Sixth.
