Headmaster's Welcome
On behalf of the Salesian Community, Governors of the College and our staff and students, I welcome you to our College. We are rightly proud of our Salesian College here in Farnborough and invite you to browse through this site to learn a little more about the distinctive ethos that is nurtured here.
In our Mission Statement we read that:
‘Salesian College is a Catholic school that seeks to appreciate and develop the talents and skills of each individual. Inspired by the life of Christ and his teaching, and the work of Don Bosco, we endeavour in active partnership with home, parish and wider community, to prepare our students to face the future with confidence and take up the challenge of the Gospel.’
Our aim is to send out into the world young people who are confident without being arrogant, comfortable with themselves and all those round them; good Christians, honest citizens, decent people, well equipped to take their place in and make a significant contribution to society.
We are proud to be acclaimed for our outstanding levels of academic, cultural, spiritual and physical achievement, exemplary student behaviour and a caring ethos.
